Edge-based Recognizer

The Keyetech Edge-based Recognizer recognizes and localizes objects on the basis of their edges. Depending on the configuration, the runtime amounts to less than 10 ms (100 Hz) for the recognition and subpixel accurate localization of objects in images of size 640×480. The method is robust with respect to occlusions, displacement, rotation, and changing lighting conditions.
